Polish Cuisine Week

Especially for the culinary festival - Polish Cuisine Week we built a portal that allows the purchase of vouchers for selected dishes (menu) and table reservations. The system was built in a multilayered marketplace model for over 400 restaurants in Poland. Each restaurant participating in the festival could register and create a profile (photos, description, map) with a menu and prices. In addition, the "restaurant panel" included a dashboard with a list of reservations/statuses and necessary tools for canceling reservations and automatically refunding payments.

From the restaurant panel, restaurateurs could define, among others, table availability and set up an account in Przelewy24.pl to receive payments for reservations directly to their bank account. Alternatively, we also implemented a module enabling payment at the restaurant. Vouchers with a reminder of the visit to the restaurant were sent systemically via email and SMS.

The portal architecture includes the following components/applications: (1) „restaurant panel”; (2) „public layer of the portal” – culinary offers of the restaurants; and (3) "control system" (back-end) – organizing the workflow and communication between restaurants and the system administrator.
During the festival, we were responsible for the comprehensive SLA of the project, along with the technical help desk.
